2015 is winding down – can you believe there’s only a month to go until Christmas? – but the art scene in Hong Kong is still as vibrant and active as ever.

This November, some out-of-the-box exhibitions is coming to Hongkong icluding an art hunt around Hong Kong and an exclusive printmaking workshop.

The Popsy Room has always been known for their innovative art and food creations and it comes to no surprise that this month’s exhibition is as Insta-worthy as ever. Floral artist Kirk Cheng unveils his Festive Floral Workshop (HKD$1,800) afternoon tea set, which features wreath making and other festive floral arrangements alongside tea and canapés prepared by The Popsy Room.

Cash and Carrier Exhibition by Victoriano
Street art has been making its mark in Hong Kong and this November notorious Spanish street artist Victoriano will be bringing his graffiti madness to the streets of Hong Kong. The “Cash & Carrier” debut solo exhibition is an interactive exhibition in which Victoriano will place eight artworks around the city as a gift to the people of Hong Kong. One of these artworks will hold a ‘golden ticket’ for the show’s VIP opening night on 20 November 2015 where the winner can meet Victoriano himself.

Starting from 13 to 19 November 2015, the artist will hide an original artwork in the streets of Hong Kong Island every day. The artworks, valued at HKD$15,000, each are graffiti laden shopping bags (‘carriers’) similar to those exhibited at ‘Cash & Carrier’. Keep an eye out for Art Victoriano’s Instagram account to get clues for this city-wide art hunt.

British artist Antony Gormley is moving his world renowned exhibition Event Horizon to Hong Kong. The exhibition has popped up in London, New York Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, and Hong Kong has been chosen as it’s next destination.

The exhibition highlights the relationship between imagination and the horizon and will be the largest and most prolific public art project ever installed in Hong Kong. Not only will the exhibition be available to the public, but it is also an education and outreach project, allowing visitors to participate in public talks and various workshops.

James McGrath is returning to Hong Kong with an amazing new exhibition -Ocula/Fleurs. His works push visitors to re-imagine traditional perspectives, looking at imagery tattooed onto surfaces such as on the curve of a mirror ball, within the books of a library, and amongst a bouquet of falling flowers.
