Yi Café at Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai presents Malaysian week from 9 to 16 December 2015 to add an authentic and lively South East Asian touch to guests’ international dining experience at Yi Cafe.

The hotel invites Chef Saberansa Bilin all the way from its sister property in Sabah, Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort & Spa, Kota Kinabalu, to deliver the essence of what Malaysian food can offer diners.

Chef Saberansa will present authentic Malaysian dishes featuring Malaysian favourites Chicken Curry with Potato, Lamb Kuzzie, Sayur Lodeh with Tempe and, Sambal Prawns; mouth-watering salads including Kerabu Prawn, Rojak Buah and, Kerabu Papaya; and classic Malaysian desserts, such as Cendol, Sago Gula Melaka and Bubur Kacang Hijauh. Malaysian food is a culinary diversity originating from its multi-ethnic population of Malay, Indian, Eurasian, Chinese, Nyonya and the indigenous people of Borneo. With the advent of Chef Saberansa, guests can embark on a truly multicultural food adventure of Malay specialities at Yi Café.
